Originally launched in 1998 and matured in European oak Oloroso and traditional American oak casks. After 18 years, the whisky is married in oak tuns for up to three months in small batches of less than 150 casks.

Ancient Reserve was launched in 1998 and discontinued, under this name, in 2007 when the brand redesign hit the shelves. From 2007 to 2014, minor pack changes were implemented. In 2010 small pack change, the text 'Married in small batches' was introduced to the packaging. Before the major brand redesign in 2015, 18 year old was redesigned in 2014 and the variant name 'Small Batch Reserve' was introduced. 

Nose: A remarkably rich aroma with ripe orchard fruit, baked apple and robust oak.

Taste:: Richly delivers luxurious dried fruit, candy peel and dates. Overlaid with elegant oak notes.

Finish: Warming, rewarding and distinguished.
