Christmas has always been a special time for Glenfiddich, with the first drop of spirit flowing from the Glenfiddich stills on Christmas Day 1887. On Christmas Day  1987, a century later, descendents of William Grant launched the Glenfiddich Centenary. A 21 year old Glenfiddich in a light blue Wedgwood Decanter produced to celebrate the distillery's official centenary (100 years) in 1987.
