Global Travel Retail: The Cask Collection
The Cask Collection was launched in Global Travel Retail with the release of Select Cask and Reserve Cask in 2013. Early 2014, Vintage Cask was added to the range.
Due to foresight and innovation, Glenfiddich has the largest collection of single malt stock maturing in the finest oak casks anywhere in the world. Some of their finest whiskies of various ages have been hand-selected by our Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, to create Glenfiddich Cask Collection, an elegant and exceptional range of single malt whiskies. It marks a significant landmark in Glenfiddich’s long and illustrious history in that this is the first time Glenfiddich has released a range of whiskies not to feature an age statement.
Rather than focusing on the age of the whisky, the Glenfiddich Cask Collection is expertly crafted to deliver three distinct flavour profiles, imparted by the different type of oak casks used in the unique Solera whisky-making process. The process marries together specially selected Glenfiddich whiskies in a single wooden vat, after maturation in traditional oak casks, to guarantee consistent taste and flavour.
Glenfiddich The Cask Collection Select Cask
Malt Master Brian Kinsman has hand-selected aged Bourbon, European oak and red wine casks of mature single malts, for their individual flavour and characteristics, which are then married together.
Aged Bourbon Casks - impart rich vanilla and sweet toffee flavours
European Oak Casks - add deep oaky tannin notes and a velvety texture
Red Wine Casks - add vibrant fruity characteristics with floral top notes
The Solera Vat melds these complex flavours together to create this elegant and smooth Glenfiddich Select Cask single malt Scotch whisky. The oak VAT to create Select Cask holds up to 180 casks.
Both the old and the new style packaging was avalable in 5cl, 20cl and 100cl at 40% abv
Glenfiddich The Cask Collection Reserve Cask
Brian has carefully hand-selected Glenfiddich whiskies matured in sherry casks reserved for their mellow and rich flavour characteristics, which are then married together in limited batches in our unique Solera Vat.
The hand-selected sherry casks impart layers of warm vanilla, deep rich fruits and subtle oaky tannins.
The Solera Vat melds these complex flavours together to create this exceptional deep, rich and mellow Glenfiddich Reserve Cask single malt Scotch whisky. The oak VAT to create Reserve cask holds up to 80 casks.

Malt Master Brian Kinsman has hand-selected peaty Glenfiddich whiskies matured in European and Bourbon vintage casks, which are married together in small batches in our unique Solera Vat to create this smoky, characterful and lingering velvety whisky.
European Oak: The peaty whiskies take on a vibrant toffee apple character from the European oak.
Bourbon Oak: Impart layers of additional smoky embers and velvety vanilla smoothness to the whisky.
The Solera Vat melds these complex flavours together to create this smoky, characterful and lingering velvety Glenfiddich Vintage Cask single malt Scotch whisky. The oak VAT to create Reserve cask holds up to 80 casks.

Glenfiddich The Cask Collection Finest Solera
A rare and exceptional whisky patiently hand-crafted through our innovative and original Solera system. Finest Solera pushes the boundaries by marrying and mellowing some of our rarest whiskies in a unique small Solera tun that always remains at least half full to create batches that are exceptional and sublime. Every hand-selected cask Brian Kinsman marries, mellows and intermingles in the Solera tun brings out unique and induvial flavours. Year on year, these flavours will add an endless richness and complexity as more of our finest casks are added to those already transformed. Brian calls this “Solera alchemy”, of turning whiskies that are beautiful on their own into something truly sensational together. Bottled in 70cl only at 48% abv. As far as I know, just 1 batch has even been released.
