Launched in 2000, the 30 year old is drawn from a vatting of bourbon and Oloroso sherry matured whiskies. 

This first version 'XXX' came in a round blue tin to match the rest of the Glenfiddich range. Next to 70cl, this was also available in 75cl and 20cl as part of a full range 5 x 20cl range pack. It was bottled at 40% abv. It was later replaced bu a different bottle in a wooden case, where the abv percentage was changed from 40% to 43%. This version was changed to a premium cardboard box, with no changes to the bottling itself. Most recent, in 2022, the 30 year old became part of the Glenfiddich Time Series. Nose: An exquisitely structured balance of hearty oak married with sweet, subtle sherry notes.

Taste: Deep, woody flavours interlaced with delicate floral accents, in a complex combination.

Finish: Warm, honeyed and exceptionally long-lasting.
